There is no pre-work required, send a message online or pick up the phone to connect with a planner today.

Q: How do I work with a financial planner?

A: You have unlimited access to dedicated financial planners. You can call in or use the online chat feature and a financial planner will work with you to provide objective guidance on financial questions you may have.

Q: Will I know who my planner is before I speak with them?

A: If you would like a planner assigned to you, click on “work with a planner” after logging on to the website. You will be able to see a brief bio of your planner and their photo. If you would like to schedule a time to speak with them, send them a message in the chat window.

You can also choose to call the EY Financial Planner Line and connect with a planner at any time during regular business hours. Rest assured, you can always request the same planner to continue your planning discussions in the future.

Q: What experience does my financial planner have?

A: EY financial planners generally have over seven years of experience in the financial services industry. All planners have a 4-year degree and are Registered Investment Advisor Representatives having passed the FINRA Series 65 exam. Most have or are working towards their CFP® designation or other advanced credentials. EY financial planners are also trained on your benefits and can help you understand how they fit into your budget and financial goals.

Q: Will my partner have access too?

A: Yes, if you choose, your partner can leverage the digital platform or contact a planner. Your partner will not be able to create their own account on the online platform, but you can share access with them. Plus, feel free to aggregate their accounts to have a holistic view of all your household’s finances. Not to mention, with your authorization, your partner can speak directly with a financial planner to discuss the household finances.

Q: What information is collected, and will it be secure?

A: The amount of information you share is entirely up to you. Rest assured, your personal financial information stays secure and confidential with the financial planners and on the online platform. Your information is only used by the planners to provide you with more personalized guidance.
